Wire Helix Aluminum Foil Hose Kits SilverDuct™ Kits with Hoods
SilverDuct™ Kits with hoods feature 5ft or 8ft of model WMF661 SilverDuct, a hood and two Zip Torq™ clamps. SilverDuct™ is a wire helix aluminum foil hose with the UL® 2158A label for clothes dryer transition duct.
KIT CONTAINS:
5ft or 8ft model WMF661 SilverDuct™:
- Steel wire helix duct
- Multi-ply design of aluminum/polyester laminate and metalized polyester
- UL® 2158A listed and labeled as foil dryer transition duct
One hood, either:
- PML320 plastic multi louver in white or brown
- PWM624 plastic wide mouth with removable screen in white or brown Two Zip Torq™ clamps
WARNINGS
- UL® 2158A approval only for installations of 8 feet or less
- Foil ducts crush easily and may contribute to lint build-up, creating a fire hazard
- Foil duct is not recommended by Builder’s Best as dryer venting
- Check your clothes dryer manufacturer manual as installation may invalidate warranties
- Check local building codes for appropriate use
