Wire Helix Poly Vinyl Hose WPV401 Standard Vinyl Duct
WPV401 is a vinyl hose with steel wire support that is useful as bathroom fan venting.
PRODUCT FEATURES
- White vinyl tubing
- High tensile steel wire support permanently heat sealed between layers of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) film
- 3" diameter = 1" Pitch 4" diameter - 1.5" pitch
- Bend radius one diameter

- Max positive: 1" w.g. -all diameters
- Max negative: ½" w.g. - all diameters
- Maximum velocity: 2,000 FPM
- Operating Temp. Range:
- -20°F to 100°F continuous
- -20°F to 120°F intermittent
RECOMMENDATIONS
Useful as bathroom fan venting. Not approved for dryer venting.
The International Mechanical Code recommends rigid metal duct for dryer exhaust as well as in-wall exhaust. IMC 504.6.1 & 504.8-3
Dryer manufacturers specify “Only rigid or flexible metal vent shall be used for exhausting. Do not use plastic or metal foil vent.”
